11/15/08 Welcome to Time of Prophets. Currently there is an activity check in progress from 11/15 to 11/30. Everyone MUST post there. Anyone that has not yet made a character has until the 30th to do so. We are in need of males so everyone refrain from making females right away. Temperatures are steadily beginning to drop. Chilly winds comb through the woodlands of the Avalon, frost nipping at the tundra while chilly coastal winds batter the Druids. To the south, Darkrais are experiencing a period of relief from severe southern heats before winter sets in. In the far north caribou are on the move, in the Avalon forests the deer have finished their summer rut and are preparing for winter. Cold rains cycle through in the early mornings leaving dense fogs to roll in from the coasts. Standing on the mainland, the fog can grow so dense you can't see the island of the Druids.

[Requirements for Adopting Plot Characters]
You must remain active. If you disappear for more then two weeks without notice, your character will be taken back and adopted out to someone else. PM me a 200 or longer word history for the character as well as a 500 word RP sample. If you want these characters, you have to work for them.

Appearance;; Sirius's build is long and lanky with willowy limbs and lean muscles. Nature chose his coloring to be that of the night sky with no moon to create light. The only colorings you'll find on this brujo would be the rune marking on his left eye, a crescent shape with a dot right at the corner of his eye. Standing out from the rest of his pitch-colored pelt, the rune is light blue, cutting through the darkness like the first rays of sunlight at dawn. He's built for speed and nobility, standing tall above other wolves and obviously quite powerful with a long stride and demanding air. His bright blue gaze captures your attention and seems to demand respect from those he meets. From the back of his head down to around the middle of his back, Sirius develops a mane similar to that of a Maned Wolf from the far south. As a younger wolf this was the bane of Sirius's existence but now adds a sort of unusual dignity to his appearance and draws eyes to him.
Personality;; Sirius is a very business-like creature. He doesn't spend a lot of time relaxing but spends most of his time thinking ahead, planning or worrying for others. Emotion isn't something he'll show freely and he often keeps a very disapproving look on his face, as if everything around him is below his notice or makes him unhappy. During the mornings, Sirius can be downright foul in his mood because it is painfully obvious he isn't a morning person. Anytime before sunhigh Sirius is liable to bite the head off of a packmate or scare the life out of a pup that's tumbled into his path. Sirius is very much a clear thinker, despite his grumpy exterior. He couldn't stand for anyone or anything harming the Druids or the others on the Council of Stars. This desire to protect everyone can sometimes create quite a bit of tension in Sirius because he feels that as the oldest of the Council, it's his responsibility to teach the others because he's worried of dying suddenly like Jupiter and not leaving behind any legacy, fearing that no one will remember him. Though friendly isn't exactly a way to describe Sirius at any time of day, none can say he doesn't care about the pack or the council, it's just his kind of caring is harder to see then most.

Appearance;; Virgo has a very noble and regal appearance, standing a bit taller then some wolves with a deep chest and well defined facial features. His fur shimmers sleek ivory highlighted with blue when you catch him at the right time of day. Bright amber optics stand out against his ivory-blue visage, a long muzzle and sharp alert ears adorning his crown. His fur lays sleek against his body like the feathers on a bird, hiding the lean muscles that lurk under his coat. Some say Virgo has feet too big for his skinny legs but its never bothered him except for when he was a pup and would stumble over too-large paws. He walks with his head held high though seems to never give the impression of looking down on anyone. He stands between Gemini and Sirius when it comes to height, not very impressive but not considered short or normal. He has a graceful, fluid walk like running water, forever able to keep his balance unless caught severely off guard. Catch him in full sunlight and you could swear he was carved of ice with amber stones used to accent his eyes.
Personality;; Though he bears the appearance of an ice sculpture, Virgo is far from. Out of the four, perhaps apart from Selen, Virgo is the easiest to approach in the minds of most Druids and outer wolves. He has a wicked sense of humor that some consider almost cruel while others simply call it dry humor. He loves to laugh and grief or sorrow is hard to find on him. More often then not, Virgo runs on common sense and doesn't always focus on the finer details of things. He goes on gut feeling and is sometimes considered the most aggressive of the Council of Stars which makes some wonder why he's even on the Council at all. His aggressive nature derives from his desire to protect all wolves, not just the Druids though he won't hesitate to do harm to those that harm his pack. He's a fierce fighter, lovable friend and devoted lover to the lucky fae that can rope in his rather wild heart. Virgo is a wolf with a warrior's soul and is known to be compassionate toward those that seek mercy but vicious toward those that do harm to anyone he cares for. He considers it his responsibility to care for the Druid pack as a whole, despite the responsibility being spit between the Council members.

Appearance;; Most similar to Sirius in color, Gemini is definatly a sight to see. Her build is long-limbed, slender and sleek. She could slip through the night unseen if she really tried and would blend right in. Her fur has a slightly ruffled, feathery quality to it that just comes naturally so she doesn't bother to try and make her fur lay completely flat anymore, having given up that task years ago. A long slender muzzle and sharp ears adorn her head and accent her oddly bright violet eyes. The coloring of her optics is most likely the side-affect of her power and she's grateful for having gaze-catching eyes. Who would want boring eyes anyway? Her gaze is brighter then a normal wolf's and because of that she can read just about anyone like a book. Unlike most Auroras, her gaze is just violet, not split between one eye color and another. She's colorblind to every color but that of a wolf's soul and their emotions. The color for Gemini's coat is a beautiful mix of onyx and crushed nightshade making her shimmer when she moves, not that she notices. Her limbs are slender and her hips high making her a very fast, very graceful runner.
Personality;; Similar to her royal appearance, Gemini has a very royal attitude. She believes she deserves respect without fighting for it simply because she is a member of the Council of Stars. Many consider her quite vain and her temper is very well known. She flares with anger every time someone says a word against her or disagrees with something she says. If she finds a male she fancies, Gemini with snarl and snap at any fae that tries to get near him. In a similar way, Gemini is a shameless flirt when she wants something from a male and snarls her way into getting what she wants from faes. She doesn't like to loose and that also includes loosing those close to her, the wolves that put up with her attitude and the wolves placed in her care by Nix. Though she's not one to show emotion other then anger or contempt, Gemini does feel sorrow and like many Auroras, she is heavily affected by the emotions of those around her, especially grief and sorrow. She'll defend the Druids and even individual wolves without being asked but if you mention her selfless acts later, she'll simply snarl out some rough reply about not really meaning to do it.
